The Amer Fort, situated in Amber, 11 kilometers from Jaipur, is one of the most famous forts of Rajasthan. Amer, originally, was the capital of the state before Jaipur. It is an old fort, built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. This fort is also very popularly known as the Amer Palace. The Amer Fort was built in red sandstone and marble and the Maotha Lake adds a certain charm to the entire Fort.

Located deep within the walled city, the City Palace Complex was conceived and built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. A beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture, the palace is still home to the last ruling royal family which lives in a private section of the palace. Hawa Mahal is a palace in Jaipur, India. Made with the red and pink sandstone, the palace sits on the edge of the City Palace, Jaipur, and extends to the Zenana, or women's chambers. The structure was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the grandson of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, who was the founder of Jaipur.x

The building of Albert Hall Museum was built in 1876 as a concert hall. The museum gets its name from the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, because of the similarity of architecture. The foundation for the building started in 1876, when Prince of Wales visited Jaipur. It was initially used as Town Hall in 1880. Later, the King of Jaipur, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II suggested to use it as a museum for Industrial Arts. Later, the hall was used for displaying masterpieces of local artisans.

The Jantar Mantar is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Kachwaha Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world's largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Possibly the most serene sight amidst the chaos of Jaipur is the beautiful Jal Mahal Jaipur, the Water Palace. This low-rise symmetrical palace, that once was a shooting lodge for the Maharajah, appears to float in the centre of Sagar Lake. The light sand coloured stone walls of the Jal Mahal Jaipur are at a stark contrast to the deep blue of the waters of the lake, while from the innards of the palace lush foliage sprouts.

Sisodia Rani Palace and Garden, is one of the most pleasant Mughal garden of Jaipur. This charbagh style Mughal garden was constructed in 1728 by the then Suryavanshi Rajput Maharaja of Udaipur Sawai Jai Singh as a token of love for his wife, Queen Sisodia. Hence, the Sisodia Rani Palace Garden. The place is decorated with multi-layered palace, springs, fountains and flower beds. Just like any other Mughal garden. One of most unique features of this garden are beautiful mural paintings of Radha-Krishna depicted on the walls of the garden. Queen Sisodia is believed to have spent her leisure on this pastures.

Govind dev ji temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple is situated in Jaipur in Rajasthan state of India. It is located in the city palace complex. The temple is surrounded by many gardens. Moti Doongri literally means pearl hill, owing to the hill's striking resemblance to a pearl. The city of Jaipur flourished around this small hill and visitors come here to pay homage to the famous Ganesh temple, considered to be the most important temple in Jaipur. The temple has a tale associated with it and many believe that the king of Mewar was once returning from a journey carrying the statue of Lord Ganesha with him. He made an oath that wherever his bullock stopped he would make a temple of Ganesha there. Thus, the temple came to be built at Moti Doongri. The hill also has a regal castle perched on top of it that has been made as a replica of a Scottish castle. Once an abode of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh (1922-1949), it continues to belong to the royal family.

The magnificent pink sandstone structure is said to have been built by Diwan Rao Kriparam who was a courtier of Sawai Jai Singh II. Since the early 16th century, Galtaji has been a haven for the puritans belonging to the Ramanadi sect and under the occupation of the Jogis. It is believed that Saint Galtav spent all this life at this sacred site, performing Tapasya for a hundred years. Pleased by his devotion, the Gods appeared before him and blessed his place of worship with copious water. To venerate this rishi, the Galtaji Temple was constructed here and named after him.

Located on the Hill of Eagles, Jaigarh fort was built in 1726 AD by Sawan Jai Singh II. Jaigarh Fort is located at a height of 500 feet above sea level and offers panoramic views of the surrounding. The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly or the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Rajasthan. The assembly meets at Vidhana Bhavan situated in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.

Gaitore, the royal cremation ground of the Kachhwaha Rajputs, was chosen as the designated place by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, after he shifted the capital to the city. From 1733, the cremation of every Kachhwaha king was done here. The only cenotaph which is missing from here is the one of Maharaja Sawai Ishwari Singh whose cremation was done in the city palace complex in Jaipur.

The ancient Digamber Jain temple at Jaipur is in Sanganer, 14 km from the city. The principal idol in the Sanghiji Temple is of Lord Adinath in the Padmasan (lotus position) posture. The temple is made of red stone and has attractive carvings. The seven-storied temple has sky-high 'shikharas' (spires) and its inner sanctum is a stone shrine with eight sky-high shikharas.

The Amar Jawan Jyoti, or the ‘flame of the immortal soldiers’, is a memorial dedicated to the martyrs of Rajasthan. This memorial is situated near Jaipur’s Vidhan Sabha Bhawan (Legislative Assembly).The key attraction of the Amar Jawan Jyoti is that the torches at the four corners of the structure are always burning. In evenings, this formidable structure is attractively lit up in vivid colours. The brilliant lighting effects make this a picturesque spot a favourite with tourists.

Maharani Ki Chhatri was a special funeral area for women belonging to Jaipur's royal family and is located on the way to Amber fort. This crematorium has several exquisitely carved cenotaphs built to commemorate them. The cenotaphs are either built with marble or the local stones. As a popular belief, a cenotaph was finished with a roof structure only if the queen died before her king. In case she died after the king, it would remain unfinished. One of the significant features of these cenotaphs is the use of chhatri (umbrella), a quintessential architectural style of the Rajputs.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Jaipur, the Madhvendra Palace was built by Sawai Ram Singh for his nine queens. This double storied palace has nine apartments that are beautifully decorated with flower motifs and mesmerizing murals which elevate the spacious courtyard. Around 15 km from Jaipur city and at a height of 700 feet, this palace probably has the most splendid views of them all.The nine apartments of the queen surround three sides of the palace, while the fourth houses the Maharaja’s living room. It is one of the oldest temple of Amber town. The best specimen of early 17th century Mahameru prasad. It consists of a Sanctum, Vestibule and Mandapa with Projecting screen window on either side the temple stands on a high ornate Adhisthana the three storeys Garbhagriha is crowned by Sikhara which is adorned with successive rows of urusringas and karansringas. The mandap is two storeyed with lateral transepts on either side. The walls of upper storey and ceiling bear painting the marble garuda-mandapa in front of the temple is intricately carved which is carrier of lord Vishnu.

Located near the Jawaharlal Nehru Marg in the Pink City, Jaipur, the Jawahar Circle is a unique destination for all kinds of visitors. Perched on the edge of the Aravallis, the NahargarhFort, overlooking the city of Jaipur, has always been a popular tourist destination. Now, adding zing to the already colorful history of the fort, under an initiative by the Government of Rajasthan, the Fort also houses the Sculpture Park. This is a one-of-a-kind venue that showcases works of contemporary arts. This project is a collaborative effort by the Government of Rajasthan and SathSaath Arts, which is a non-profit NGO. It aims to turn the palace into a gallery for contemporary art, with sculptures by top Indian and international artists being displayed indoors and outdoors.

Amrapali Museum is an initiative by the founders of Amrapali Jewels Pvt. Ltd. The museum is dedicated to Indian jewellery and jewelled objects, located in the city of Jaipur. For the founders (Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera) the collection has been a labour of love that began nearly forty years ago when they became friends at college, and that continues to this day. The museum has several areas to focus over two floors. The ground floor displays items of beauty and adornment, silver and gold jewellery for every part of the body, from virtually every region of India; with a special focus on pieces that are connected with rites of passage, from birth to death. The basement houses numerous inspirations for designs that have been available to the Indian craftsman over time, seen through both the jewelry and the range of silver objects in the collection. A separate section is dedicated to heirloom textiles that are embellished with gold and silver. The entire collection is made up of over 4000 pieces, of which around 800 are on display. Locally known as Chand Baori, Abhaneri Step Well, about 95 Km from Jaipur, is one of the most attractive step wells in western India. Built between 800 CE and 900 CE by King Chanda, it is dedicated to Harsiddhi Mata, the regional goddess of joy. Comprising over 13 storeys and 3500 steps, Chand Baori is definitely worth a visit, even if it means spending some time away from the monuments in Jaipur. Exquisitely carved and visually spectacular, Abhaneri Step Well is an architectural marvel that not only has utility as a water source during droughts and no-rain months, but is also a thing of beauty to be savored.
